Denelle Kolkmann is a registered nurse who brings extensive experience and extraordinary compassion to her patient care at Reply. After receiving her nursing degree from Sisters of Charity Hospital School of Nursing in Buffalo, New York, Ms. Kolkmann devoted 27 years to the affiliated Sisters of Charity Hospital before relocating to North Carolina with her husband in 2016.
Ms. Kolkmann’s decades of experience include Ob/Gyn, pediatric, and NICU nursing, as well as prenatal patient education. From 2008-2016, while she was at the Sisters of Charity’s Ob/Gyn Center, Ms. Kolkmann’s duties included serving as a certified facilitator for the OB Centering Program and working with at-risk OB patients including those with opiate dependency. Her patient education work included teaching “Baby Talk,” a course for parents on newborn care, as well as a “Sibling Class” for siblings of newborns.
Prior to moving to North Carolina and joining Reply, Ms. Kolkmann was a lifelong resident of Grand Island, New York, where she was active in PTA and as a volunteer helping resettling refugees. Her other interests include boating, gardening, cooking, and physical fitness. She loves winter, and is worried the temperate North Carolina climate will leave her missing the lake-effect snow of upstate New York!
